All Drivers for SENIOR Transportation complete a
Defensive Driving Course approved by the New Jersey Safety
Council. Those who complete the course may have his/her
Insurance rates lowered. This course can also result in
reduced points on her/his driver's license.*
Illinois drivers who successfully
completed this course have 13% fewer negligent driving arrests and
19% fewer collisions than those who don't complete the course.
This course is comprehensive and
interactive with the goal of providing drivers with practical
knowledge and techniques to avoid collisions and violations.
The course helps those who take it to choose safe, responsible, and
lawful driving behaviors instead.
This class is taught in English.
You will learn:

attitude which will help you avoid collisions and poor

A video using animation and
graphics will be used during the six-hour training event. You
will be give a valuable Defensive Driving Self-Assessment Risk
Survey.
This course is taught
free-of-charge to all driving employees of SENIOR Transportation
(it is required of these individuals). (For the course to be
free to an employee, that person must remain with the company for
six months. Shorter employment may require a pro rated
repayment for the course.)
Individuals other than SENIOR
Transportation employees may take the class. Please call our
office class dates, times, and costs.

* The legislature of
New Jersey established a two-point motor vehicle reduction
program for New Jersey drivers who satisfactorily complete a
registered Defensive Driving Course.
The program administered
and regulated by the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission
requires a minimum of six (6) hours of classroom instruction
which is taught by an instructor certified by the New Jersey
State Safety Council.
The two-point reduction
program is voluntary, errant drivers are not forced to attend a
Defensive Driving Course.
Remember -- A student
may apply for point reduction only once every three (3) years.
Students may not reduce point total below zero. Students
with no points should not waste their once in three-year
opportunity by requesting point reduction.
